Questions
Is it legal to sell food from home?+
It depends on where you live and what you cook. Many areas allow home kitchens through cottage food or home kitchen (MEHKO) permits; some meals need a permit, inspection, or a shared commercial kitchen. You're responsible for meeting your local rules, and we point you to resources during signup.
What does it cost?+
Nothing to join. DineDash keeps 18% of each order to cover payments and the platform. You keep the rest, plus 100% of tips.
Do I have to deliver?+
No. Offer pickup only, or delivery where it's available in your area.
How much can I make?+
That's up to your prices and how often you cook. The calculator above shows an estimate — it isn't a promise of earnings.
Ready to open your kitchen?
